Life In The Autumn Forest (Poem)

A fallen branch
Collecting June leaves
For sleeping insects
Snuggled safely beneath

Standing far above
Old tree looks down
Feeling Season’s loss
Strewn o’er musty ground

Clear wind blows
A leaf’s last breath
Rustling the peace
In drowsy forest
