Vindictive (Poem)

you
can’t have love between
pretty fibs of deceit
so don’t you dare lie to me
why
call yourself a friend
when you plan to
back-stab me again
I
always told you the truth
vacuously I assumed
you did too
now
I see how controlling
you were marvelous at
pulling off my wings
